Site Assessment

BHE Environmental performs Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) using a multi-disciplinary approach that improves our ability to identify “recognized environmental conditions”. Our site assessment reports provide the necessary data, interpretation, conclusions, and recommendations that allow our clients to make sound, informed, business decisions.

When Phase I findings warrant, BHE will conduct Phase II studies, which consist of sampling and analysis to identify the presence of hazardous substances or petroleum products. The Phase II conclusions are presented to allow critical path assessment, and transition to remediation activities if necesary.

Site characterization investigations are performed at commercial, industrial, and abandoned sites to identify the extent of contamination. Contaminate transport modeling and exposure assessment activities are designed to mitigate the risks associated with identified contaminates.

Release investigations are required to identify the extent of impacts from underground petroleum storage tank releases. BHE also performs UST closures, and design and implementation of remediation systems.
