Biologists/Wetland Scientists
BHE Environmental, Inc., an environmental consulting firm providing services to clients nationwide,
has immediate openings (part time and/or seasonal) in Columbus, Ohio and eastern Ohio (Canton, New
Philadelphia, Cambridge, near I-77 corridor). These positions may lead to a permanent position.
Responsibilities include biological field investigations with emphasis on wetlands, stream crossings,
and threatened and endangered species. Duties will include both general and species-specific floral
and faunal surveys, stream assessments, wetland determinations, delineations, field surveys, data
collection, and completion of data forms. Working knowledge of natural resource regulations desired.
Experience in wetland reporting and CWA 404/401 permitting is preferred. Experience in oil and gas,
and/or pipeline industry is a plus.
Candidates should have a minimum B.S. in biological sciences and 5 years relevant experience.
Required: MS Office, access to email, strong written/oral communication skills.

Landfill Engineer

services to clients nationwide, has an opening in our Cincinnati and/or Knoxville office for an
Engineer.
Candidates must have at least a BS in Civil Environmental Engineering or a related degree, 5 plus
years experience, and a Professional Engineering License. Applicants should have experience in landfill
assessment and design, remediation, project management, client development, drawing and specification
development, and AutoCAD and/or GIS applications. The position will require strong project management
skills and will support a growing engineering division in need of senior engineering support to help
manage client development and technical projects.

Water Resources Engineer

Candidates must have at least a BS in Civil Environmental Engineering or a related degree, 3 to 5 years
of experience. Applicants should have experience in watershed planning, sewer design, sewer separation,
utilities design, hydraulic modeling (SWMM proficient), drawing and specification development, and
proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS applications. The position will require strong project management skills
and will support a growing engineering division in need of senior engineering support to help manage the
business and its technical projects.

Entry Level Civil Engineer
BHE Environmental, Inc., an environmental consulting, engineering, and remediation company providing services
to clients nationwide, has an opening in our Cincinnati office for an entry level Civil Engineer.
Candidates must have a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Ideally, applicants would have experience
in AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic applications. The position supports the Engineering Group’s storm
water planning division and other engineering divisions. The job tasks will include drawing preparation,
specification development, field data collection, and reporting.
